Kid's Sweet Treats cap

A colourful base with simple illustrations of many sweet treats on top!

Decided to do this as a continuous series to the 'A Kid's View pumps' that I did sometime ago. ~~Still undecided if I should keep or sell it. If you happen to be interested, kindly drop me an e-mail ok?~~ Decided to keep it for self. :)

Almost done with experimenting with "cartoon-y" stuff, on to portraits soon!

Woo hoo~ An update finally.

A fast and simple alteration to my sneakers-

1) Cut away the front parts(is there a specific word for it?)

Reason why I did so was further enhance the rugged look of the sneakers since they were designed in such a way that the top of the shoes are slightly shredded.

2) Paste black duct tapes on desired areas and sew the sides to secure

Used white thread and then decided to paint some parts red to match with the red tag of the brand.

A Kid's View pumps

I titled this "A Kid's View". Basically, the drawings are of what that I think relate to me and unlike my usual habit of painting still life, I did this in a cartoon-ish style. Hence, the title!
Didn't come up with a fixed design but just applied the "think of what, draw what" concept!
Here goes my first take on pumps and 2nd attempt at cartoons!

Marilyn Monroe Slip- Ons

FOR SALE

My first pair of Slip- Ons. =) I've decided on doing Marilyn Monroe cos I think she's an icon and everyone adores her. A yellow, blue and red diamante is pasted on her hair, eyes and lips respectively to create that Pop- Art feel. Instead of painting the coloured version of Marilyn Monroe(Andy Warhol's artwork), I worked with black and white instead. This is so as to make them easier to match with clothings.

Selling for $60, including shoes at size 37 which I got for $10.90. Why its rather pricey is because of the amount of hours and effort I contributed to them. Its not easy to paint a portrait already, moreover this is on shoes. Had to keep editing to make the portrait successful!

Hmm, as you can see from my previous posts, I don't usually draw cartoon characters but did so this time since one of my best friends requested!

Diamantes are pasted, accordingly to the colours painted, on some points. Not very obvious in photographs and only noticeable under certain lights and if one's observant enough!

I did this for none other than........... myself! This is slightly different from the Marilyn Monroe pair cos this is more greyish whereas that has more distinct Blacks and Whites.

For those who watched Meteor Garden, you will understand why the front parts of the sneakers are cut off. I personally think its unique and more comfortable.
